As the seasons change so does are skin.That is why it is really important to rescue winter skin, to keep are skin well hydrated this winter. Pure essential oils are ideal as they are light and simply absorbed into the skin, giving the skin that healthy firmness and plumpness.
The good thing about using pure essential oils is you really only need a few drops and still get the awesome properties that they contain. A little bit goes a long way for sure! 2-3 drops max.
When trying out new oils for the first time. It may be a good idea to apply a small amount to one area of the skin to test for sensitivity. Some oils do not suit everybody, really just the same as creams or moisturisers not being suitable.

This is the top oil for any skin complaint. It is probably the most popular oil that many of us have in the household. Dry skin can benefit greatly by application of lavender oil on its own or by mixing coconut oil. Skin conditions such as eczema,acne or psoriasis can be relieved from using this oil also.
It is a skin saver. This oil boosts many antioxidants creating a clearer and smoother complexion. Preventing dry skin here we come. Included in this wonderful oil is betacarotene, vitamin C and bioflavonoids. It gives the skin that radiant glow.
This oil brings dry and dehydrated skin back to life. Containing high amounts of antioxidants it repairs any damage to the skin. With regular use, it fights free radical damage, making it a wonder oil. It’s great for sensitive skin.
High in Vitamin E and also containing linoleic acid, antioxidants and omega 6 fatty acids. It is anti inflammatory and really moisturising on the skin. It is taken from the nuts of the Moroccan Argan tree.
I always find myself running back to one of these oils to rescue winter skin. Can’t get enough of them. I love how they are so light and don’t weigh down my skin. I also like using these oils as body and hair moisturisers too. Have you tried any of these oils?
